Adrenalin Afternoon: The Alterset Team Hits the Track
Alterset · 1 October 2026
Last Saturday, part of the Alterset team swapped keyboards for steering wheels. Our Adrenalin Afternoon took us to KartLand Ada Huja in Belgrade for three hours of autumn sun, engine noise and very little mercy in the corners.
Helmets on, a quick briefing, and out onto the track. Some of us drove like we’d been doing it for years. Some of us got to know the barriers rather well. There were spins — more than a few — and every single one came with a round of laughter, mostly from the person in the kart.
Then it got serious
It took about one lap for “just for fun” to turn into actual racing. Lines were defended, overtakes were attempted, and by the end of the afternoon we had our winners and runners-up on the podium. Congratulations to all of them — and to everyone who crossed the line with a grin, which was everyone.
Then, dinner
After the last lap we moved to the restaurant overlooking the track: burgers, drinks, and a long evening of retelling every corner, each version a little faster than the last. A special thank-you to the waiters, who were top-notch from the first round to the last.
Lots of laughter, plenty of respect — on the track and at the table. Most days we meet across projects and screens; afternoons like this one are where the team gets to know each other as people, and that carries straight back into the work.
Thank you to everyone who organised it, and to everyone who showed up. Something tells us there will be a rematch. 🏁
P.S. Special thanks to Milan, who swapped the kart for the editing suite and turned the afternoon into a short film. He insists the final cut doesn’t favour any particular driver. We’ve decided to believe him. 🎬 Watch it just below the photos.
