Alterset on BIZLife Week: Digital Transformation, AI and the Future of IT Roles
Alterset · 2 September 2026
This week, two of us traded the office for a TV studio. Tamara Mirković, our Head of HR, and Milan Maksimović, Co-Founder & Partner, were guests on BIZLife Week, the weekly business show on Newsmax Balkans television.
The topic was digital transformation and HR in Serbia — which, in 2026, means the topic was also AI. One of us looks at it from the engineering side, the other from the people side, and the most useful answers sit exactly where those two views meet.
What we talked about
- What digital transformation really means in practice — once you take away the slide-deck version of it.
- Where AI already delivers concrete business value — today, not on a roadmap.
- How AI is changing IT roles, and which skills are becoming the ones that matter.
- What will separate the companies that lead the market from the ones that fall behind over the next few years.
The full interview is above (in Serbian).
If you’d rather read our view than watch it, the long version is on How we build: where AI earns its place in our work, where we don’t let it near, and the failure modes most people leave out.
Thank you to the BIZLife team for the invitation and a great conversation. BIZLife Week airs every Tuesday on Newsmax Balkans.
